Technical validation of solutions and processes Company Description Anglo American, in partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation, is developing the Quellaveco mining operation—one of the world’s largest copper deposits—located in the Moquegua region of southern Peru. Quellaveco has a 30-year reserve life. It will employ open-pit mining and flotation processes to produce copper concentrates, with molybdenum and silver as by-products. Quellaveco is expected to produce an average of 300,000 tonnes of copper per year during its first 10 years of operation. This role will primarily support two key Quellaveco projects: * Construction of a redundant data center to ensure operational continuity. * Analysis and improvement of the technology asset management process. Additionally, the intern will participate in activities related to: * Technical validation of solutions and processes * Field inspection support to provide feedback to Supervisors * Updating and generating reports from the technology asset database * Other duties assigned by their Supervisor Requirements **Academic Qualifications** * Graduated from technical programs such as Electronics, Systems, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields. * Graduation in semesters: 2024\-II, 2025\-I, or 2025\-II * Ranked in the top third, top fifth, or top tenth of their graduating class. **Experience** * Not required Additional Information **About the Role** * Work location: Quellaveco * Schedule: 5x2 (on-site) * Agreement duration: Until December 2026 * Reports to: IT/OT Architecture and Engineering Specialist **Application Deadline** * Sunday, May 31 **Next Steps** If you proceed to the next stage, you will receive an email from us inviting you to complete your first assessment on our HireVue platform and fill out a data collection form via Microsoft Forms.
