Job Summary: Comprehensive coordination of customs clearance, document management, and tracking of foreign trade processes. Key Highlights: 1. Minimum 1 year of experience in foreign trade or customs logistics. 2. Proficiency in the SINTAD System is essential for customs management. 3. Development of competencies in organization and problem-solving. Position Profile: Customs Sector Specialist Academic Qualifications Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Foreign Trade, and/or related fields. Preferred: Professional degree in Administration or Foreign Trade. Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in roles related to foreign trade, customs logistics, or sectorization. Technical Knowledge Foreign trade processes: exports and imports. Management and coordination of bookings with shipping lines and airlines. Proficiency in the SINTAD System (mandatory). Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office. Basic English proficiency. Competencies General: Service orientation, teamwork, effective communication. Specific: Critical thinking, organization, problem-solving, and performance under pressure. Main Responsibilities Collection, review, and management of physical and digital documents. End-to-end tracking and coordination of customs clearance procedures. Recording of events in the SINTAD system. Preparation and submission of management reports. Coordination and tracking of anticipatory, urgent, and temporary regime customs clearances. Monitoring and verification of cargo arrival and departure information. Coordination of payments to shipping lines, airlines, and freight forwarders. Requesting corrections to manifests and waybills. Monitoring container demurrage and reporting empty container returns. Management of credentials with shipping lines or maritime agents. Directing shipments via maritime agent portals, shipping line portals, or warehouse systems. Processing of customs approvals (01\) for opened references. Updating or modifying container seals on the temporary storage facility platform (FCL cargo). Other duties assigned by General Management.
