Required Experience and Competencies: * Minimum 2 years of experience as an Inplant, In-House, or Customer Service representative, preferably within a customs brokerage agency. (Desirable) * Technical and/or university studies in International Business, International Trade, Administration, or related fields. (Desirable) * Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Office. (Desirable) * Intermediate-level English language proficiency. (Desirable) Responsibilities: * Communicate with the client’s international suppliers and agents to determine cargo status. * Track purchase orders and send status reports (delays, early arrivals, etc.). * For each shipment, coordinate with users to email the following documents to the In-House team: HAWB or HBL, commercial invoice, packing list, and any additional cargo-related information required for customs clearance validation and processing with clean documentation—including restricted items such as IMO, IQBF, and gases. * Contact freight forwarders to obtain cargo-related information—for example: cargo itineraries, copies of BLs, issuance of original BLs, routing instructions, arrival notifications, etc.—and ensure the user is copied on all correspondence. * Verify cargo ETA and request the post-arrival delivery order for air imports. * Prepare documents for submission to the customs brokerage agency (including delivery location, translation when applicable, application of insurance, and confirmation of whether royalties apply). * Coordinate with internal clients to schedule maritime and air cargo deliveries within agreed timelines and inform the end user. * Communicate urgent maritime matters, report shipment delays, and follow up until delivery to the client. * Perform other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor.
