Position Summary: Supervise operational activities and ensure compliance with quality standards in a microbiology laboratory. Key Highlights: 1. Lead and supervise a microbiological laboratory team. 2. Ensure quality and accreditation according to NTP ISO/IEC 17025:2017. 3. Actively participate in method validation and improvement. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Biology, Microbiology, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience in microbiological testing. * Knowledge of NTP ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and Good Laboratory Practices. * Knowledge of method validation, quality assurance, and uncertainty estimation. * Experience in reviewing results, test reports, and handling audits. * Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Valid professional registration and licensing. **Responsibilities:** * Supervise the operational activities of the Microbiology Laboratory. * Verify correct application of standardized, validated, and authorized methods. * Review and validate microbiological results prior to issuing reports. * Ensure compliance with NTP ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and accreditation requirements. * Coordinate implementation, validation, and verification of microbiological methods. * Supervise quality controls, proficiency testing, and interlaboratory comparisons. * Coordinate with the Laboratory Manager regarding area needs, deviations, and improvements. * Supervise adherence to deadlines, technical records, and area documentation. * Participate in internal and external audits. * Supervise, train, and authorize analytical staff under supervision. **Competencies:** * Leadership. * Planning and organization. * Technical analysis. * Attention to detail. * Quality orientation. * Effective communication. * Teamwork. * Problem solving. * Confidentiality and impartiality.
