Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with suppliers and the cutting department **JOB OPENING** **TEXTILE QUALITY AUDITOR** **Department:** Quality **Availability:** Full-time **Reports to:** Quality Manager **Job Summary** We are looking for a **Textile Quality Auditor**, responsible for ensuring that fabrics and/or accessories comply with the company's and/or customer's established quality standards. The role involves auditing fabrics by verifying parameters such as **shade, hand feel, and pilling**, identifying defects and deviations, ensuring final product conformity, and maintaining proper traceability of findings. **Job Objective** Ensure raw material (fabric) quality by identifying defects and promptly reporting them to suppliers regarding possible reprocessing or dispatch approvals, through 100% roll inspection. **Main Responsibilities** * Detect, classify, and record textile defects (e.g., holes, stains, streaks). * Determine defect origin (dyeing or weaving). * Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with suppliers and the cutting department. * Evaluate feasibility of implementing special treatments to prevent defects in finished products. * Audit fabrics verifying quality parameters: shade, hand feel, and pilling. * Prepare and complete quality reports for finished and washed fabrics, indicating status: **Approved, Observed, or Rejected**. * Communicate findings to the Textile Coordinator, Quality Management, and suppliers. **Requirements** **Experience:** * Minimum **1 year** of experience in textile companies. * At least **6 months** in roles similar to this position. **Academic Qualifications:** * Technical and/or university degree in **Textile Engineering or related fields** (mandatory). * Knowledge of fiber types, fabric structures, and product technical specifications. **Technical Knowledge:** * Basic office software (Word and Excel). * Knowledge of: * Natural, synthetic, and blended fibers. * Dimensional tolerances. * Color fastness, tensile strength, pilling, and shrinkage. **Soft Skills** * Attention to detail. * Organization and discipline. * Effective communication. * Teamwork. * Honesty and professional ethics. * Problem-solving. * Proactivity. **Coordination** * Quality Management. * Textile Quality Coordinator. * Suppliers and cutting department for incident management and approvals. **Interested candidates meeting the profile should apply by sending their documented CV to NUMBER: \#\* 977 626 600, indicating in the subject line: “Textile Quality Auditor”.** Employment Type: Full-time Salary: S/.1,600\.00 \- S/.1,800\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
