Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced CNC Mold Maker to operate and program machinery, machine precision parts, and maintain injection molds equipped with hot runner systems. Key Highlights: 1. Operation and programming of CNC lathes and milling machines for precision parts. 2. Experience in machining various materials and specialized steels. 3. Maintenance and repair of injection molds with hot runner systems. **CNC MOLD MAKER \- ATE** **REQUIREMENTS:** * Graduate of a technical program in Production Mechanics, Maintenance Mechanics, Mold Making, or related fields. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating CNC machines, especially CNC lathes and milling machines. * Experience in precision machining and fitting for mold-making tasks. * Knowledge of machining different types of materials and steels, including quenched and tempered steel, case-hardening steel, beryllium copper, and hardened steels. * Experience in maintenance and repair of injection molds with hot runner systems. * Solid knowledge of interpreting mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, exploded views, tolerances, and surface finishes. * Knowledge of CNC programming and generation of machining toolpaths. * Knowledge of metrology and handling of precision measuring instruments. * Availability to work on-site in Ate. * Availability to work during operation-defined shifts and perform overtime when required. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Operate CNC lathes and milling machines for manufacturing and repairing precision parts. * Program CNC equipment and generate machining toolpaths according to drawings, geometries, and technical specifications. * Interpret part drawings to be machined, considering specified dimensions, tolerances, fits, and finishes. * Machine parts, components, and spare parts for plastic injection molds. * Machine parts and spare parts required for production machines and equipment. * Define and apply necessary tolerances for fitting inserts, cavities, cores, and other mold components. * Select cutting tools, cutting parameters, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies based on material and part complexity. * Perform machining operations on quenched and tempered steel, case-hardening steel, beryllium copper, hardened steels, and other materials used in mold making. * Dimensionally inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments. * Perform necessary adjustments and finishing to ensure proper assembly and functionality of mold components. * Participate in maintenance and repair of plastic injection molds, including hot runner systems. * Identify deviations during machining processes and implement necessary corrections to meet technical specifications. * Coordinate preventive and corrective interventions with Production, Maintenance, or Mold Making supervisors. * Carry out activities assigned by the supervisor or immediate manager. * Record all executed activities fully and promptly. * Maintain assigned CNC machines, cutting tools, tool holders, measuring instruments, and equipment in good condition. * Comply with company-established quality, safety, and occupational health procedures. * Propose improvements to reduce machining time, increase accuracy, and extend mold service life. **BENEFITS:** * Market-competitive salary * Food card * Profit-sharing, approximately equivalent to two annual salaries, based on company performance. * Formal payroll enrollment from day one. * Full statutory benefits: CTS (Compensatory Time Savings), bonuses, vacation leave, EsSalud, family allowance where applicable, among others. * Full statutory benefits: Formal payroll enrollment from day one, CTS, bonuses, vacation leave, EsSalud, among others. * Access to EPS (optional): Opportunity to enroll in private health insurance at corporate rates.
