DESCRIPTION A prominent company in the agro-industrial sector is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations in Peru amid growth and strengthening of its financial processes. **ROLE OF THE POSITION:** Lead the group’s comprehensive accounting management, ensuring correct application of applicable accounting standards (IFRS) and tax regulations across multiple legal entities. Responsible for strengthening the accounting structure, optimizing SAP S/4HANA usage, and ensuring the quality, traceability, and timeliness of financial information, providing strategic support to Financial Management and the Board of Directors. ### **Main Responsibilities:** * Manage accounting for various group units, ensuring consistency and control over financial information. * Lead implementation and adaptation to IFRS, ensuring proper application. * Supervise accounting entries, documentation validation, and financial statement quality. * Prepare and validate financial reports for management and the Board of Directors. * Ensure compliance with tax obligations under current regulations. * Lead management of external audits (Big Four) and SUNAT tax inspections. * Supervise specialized processes such as shrinkage studies, transfer pricing, IAS 41, and physical inventory counts. * Manage and optimize SAP S/4HANA usage as the central system for the accounting department. * Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement in accounting processes. * Standardize and formalize corporate-level accounting processes. REQUIREMENTS ### **Requirements** #### **Academic Qualifications** * Certified Public Accountant. * Specialization or diploma in IFRS, taxation, or financial auditing (preferred). #### **Experience** * Minimum 5 years’ experience as Accounting Manager. * Experience in comprehensive accounting management and handling multiple legal entities. * Experience in IFRS implementation or adaptation. * Experience managing external audits (preferably Big Four) and SUNAT tax inspections. * Experience in agro-industrial, biological sectors, or companies with high operational complexity (preferred). #### **Technical Knowledge** * IFRS / IAS accounting standards. * Advanced proficiency in SAP S/4HANA (mandatory). * Advanced MS Office.
