**Description:**
Stantec is seeking to hire a JUNIOR ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST for its offices in Peru, requiring a professional with at least five (5) years of general work experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Familiarity with protocols and environmental regulations for field data collection and preparation of environmental baselines for various environmental studies within the area.
* Systematization of monitoring databases from diverse environmental studies using information technology tools, including statistical analysis, graphs, and tables for technical reports and baselines.
* Field evaluation of physical quality parameters (soil, air, noise), with knowledge of agrostology and contaminated sites.
* Processing and interpretation of soil quality and characterization results, in accordance with applicable national and international regulations.
* Demonstrated experience preparing physical baselines and environmental impact assessments.
* Participation in the development of area-specific proposals.
**Qualifications:**
Requirements for this position:
* Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry Engineering, or related fields.
* Five (5) years of relevant work experience.
* Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Advanced-level proficiency in Database Management Software / Programming.
