LOGISTICS MANAGER A construction company specializing in public infrastructure projects is seeking a **Logistics Manager**, with experience in logistics management, procurement, purchasing, warehousing, and supplier management—preferably in public infrastructure construction projects. Requirements: Academic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields. * Specialization or diploma in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Procurement, or Warehouse Management **(mandatory)**. * Training in procurement and logistics control applied to public infrastructure construction projects. Experience: * Minimum of **5 years** of professional experience in logistics, purchasing, and/or procurement activities—preferably related to public infrastructure construction projects. * Minimum of **3 years** of experience in logistics leadership or coordination roles, warehouse supervision, and purchasing management within the construction sector. * Proven experience in comprehensive procurement and logistics management for construction projects. * Experience in supervising logistics personnel, evaluating and negotiating with suppliers, budgetary control, and consumption analysis. * Experience in implementing and operating ERP systems, preferably **S10**. Technical Knowledge: * Intermediate-to-advanced Excel proficiency. * Inventory management, Kardex handling, and on-site warehouse control. * Procurement and supply management tailored to the construction sector. * Proficiency in ERP S10 or other logistics management systems. * Knowledge of public procurement regulations **(desirable)**. Main Responsibilities: * Supervise and coordinate logistics processes to ensure timely availability of required materials and equipment on site. * Manage suppliers and negotiate contracts according to project requirements. * Approve and supervise quotations and purchase and/or service orders. * Lead and supervise assigned personnel, evaluating their performance and fulfillment of responsibilities. * Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with strategic suppliers to secure optimal pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality. * Supervise proper inventory and warehouse management to prevent material surpluses or shortages. * Monitor and evaluate logistics department expenditures, identifying opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization. * Identify risks associated with logistics operations and coordinate preventive actions with relevant departments. * Supervise compliance with internal company procedures and policies. * Propose improvements to logistics processes to optimize time, resources, and costs. * Maintain effective communication with various company departments, suppliers, and clients. **Work Location:** On-site employment.
