Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Electrical Planner to plan and schedule maintenance of assets in mineral processing plants, developing strategies and ensuring resource availability. You will be responsible for ensuring the planning and scheduling of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance for weekly schedules and plant shutdowns across all assets comprising Metso mineral processing plants and/or those of our clients; developing maintenance strategies; controlling the budget allocated for their execution; and ensuring resource availability on scheduled dates—guaranteeing adherence to schedules, technical specifications, and Quality, Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management System guidelines; and supervising that personnel under your supervision also comply with these guidelines. What You Will Do Develop preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans. Plan maintenance services and work orders from other companies in Puerto using SAP. Manage work orders in SAP PM, including creation, tracking, closure, and failure history analysis. Control stock levels, material coding, and coordinate with AAQ Planning to ensure availability. Monitor and track critical spare parts in coordination with the Logistics department. Develop maintenance schedules using MS Project and advanced Excel. Prioritize tasks based on equipment criticality and resource availability. Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, operators, and other departments (safety, production, warehouse). Update equipment intervention and component replacement control records. Continuously update the general spare parts master and the detailed master for components, instruments, and consumables. Update labor capacity in SAP to synchronize with the 12-week plan. Prepare technical reports, present results, and propose improvements. Comply with service mobilization and demobilization according to company policies. If required and authorized by your supervisor, perform additional vehicle driving duties for transporting materials and tools—provided you hold the certifications and approvals mandated by the mining unit. Fulfill all applicable labor obligations under current legislation and internal company regulations, including those related to occupational safety and health—both for the company and its clients (e.g., comply with the Management System regulations, the OSH Policy, RIT, RISST, Safety Standards, procedures, as well as control measures identified in IPERC, PETS, PETAR, and ATS; use PPE, attend scheduled trainings, report incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions, maintain order and cleanliness, stop any activity posing significant risk to personnel life and health and/or the environment; comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards, as applicable; and others). Train personnel under your supervision to fulfill these obligations. Other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor consistent with your job role. Who We Are Looking For **Education:** Professional Mechanical\-Electrical Engineer specialized in planning, scheduling, and controlling preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities in port facilities handling mineral concentrates. **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of proven experience in maintenance planning within industrial environments, preferably in port, mining, or mineral processing plants. **Desired Knowledge:** Analytical skills, proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS), and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams in demanding industrial environments. Proficiency in tools such as SAP PM, Oracle, MP, or similar for work order management, equipment history, and scheduling. Knowledge of operation and maintenance of conveyor belts, ship loaders, pumps, filters, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Knowledge of medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical distribution systems, electrical switching operations, electrical protection, instrumentation, industrial electricity, diesel generators, electrical substations, SPAT systems, industrial networks, and HVAC systems. Ability to read drawings, interpret technical manuals, and develop procedures. Spare parts management and inventory control. Maintenance KPI management.
