Job Summary: We are seeking a Mold Maker with experience in maintaining plastic injection molds to perform repairs and improvements on mold components. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunity to propose technical improvements to optimize molds. **MOLD MAKER \- ATE** **REQUIREMENTS:** * Graduate of a technical program in Production Mechanics, Maintenance Mechanics, Mold Making, or related fields. * Minimum 5 years of experience in repair, adjustment, and maintenance of plastic injection molds. * Experience working with thin-wall resin injection molds and hot runner systems. * Knowledge of manufacturing and repairing plastic injection molds. * Knowledge of adjusting, grinding, and fitting mold components, primarily cavities and cores. * Solid knowledge of interpreting mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and exploded views. * Solid knowledge of operating conventional machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM machines. * Knowledge of metrology and handling of precision measuring instruments. * Willingness to work onsite in Ate. * Availability to work during operation-defined shifts and perform overtime when necessary. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plastic injection molds, including thin-wall molds and hot runner systems. * Diagnose mold failures, wear, deformations, or irregularities and determine the required technical procedure for repair. * Conduct dimensional verification and analysis of issues identified in molds and components. * Define and apply recommended tolerances for fitting inserts and other mold components. * Machine parts, components, and spare parts for plastic injection molds. * Fabricate or repair parts and spare parts required for production machinery and equipment. * Perform turning, milling, grinding, and EDM operations according to drawings and technical specifications. * Adjust, grind, and fit cavities, cores, inserts, and other mold components. * Assemble, mount, disassemble, and fit plastic injection molds. * Verify proper mold functionality after each intervention. * Coordinate with Production and Maintenance supervisors to execute preventive and corrective interventions. * Promptly address mold failures that may affect production continuity. * Propose technical improvements to increase mold service life, reliability, and performance. * Carry out tasks assigned by the supervisor or immediate manager. * Fully and timely record all maintenance, repair, and fabrication activities performed. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper care of assigned machines, tools, and instruments. * Comply with company-established quality, safety, and occupational health procedures. **BENEFITS:** * Market-competitive salary * Food card * Profit-sharing, approximately equivalent to two annual salaries, based on company performance. * Formal payroll enrollment from day one. * Full statutory benefits: CTS (Compensatory Time Savings), bonuses, vacation, EsSalud, family allowance where applicable, among others. * Full statutory benefits: Formal payroll enrollment from day one, CTS, bonuses, vacation, ESSALUD, among others. * Access to EPS (optional): Opportunity to obtain private health insurance at corporate rates.
