Position Summary: Provide specialized technical support to customers in rock blasting, optimizing processes and ensuring quality and safety standards. Key Highlights: 1. Technical support to internal and external customers on blasting protocols 2. Design and proposal of solutions integrating new technologies 3. Leadership in field implementation of new technologies **Mission or Objective**: Provide technical support to customers based on contractual agreements, promoting improvement in the rock blasting process while complying with quality and safety standards. * Provide technical support to internal and external customers on blasting protocols (charge design, blast sequencing, and others) to ensure efficient execution in accordance with Enaex standards. * Provide technical advisory to external customers on the application of Enaex’s various services and products to generate value and optimize results. * Supervise and monitor field blasting execution to ensure compliance with protocols, established standards, and adaptation of technical solutions to the customer’s specific conditions. * Design and propose solutions for blasting planning and execution, integrating new technologies and best operational practices to optimize time, cost, and quality, leading continuous improvement initiatives that foster efficiency and sustainability in operations. * Supervise and evaluate blasting project outcomes through analysis of operational and comparative data to propose improvement opportunities, optimize the process, and determine the most effective scenarios. * Lead field implementation of new technologies to ensure usage according to technical specifications. * Evaluate post-blast analysis of explosives used, based on obtained results, to propose alternatives meeting KPIs. * Recommend modifications based on identification and documentation of operational deviations that may impact blasting outcomes via technical notes, aiming to ensure maintenance and continuous improvement of results. * Conduct evaluation and follow-up of blasting outcomes to guarantee alignment with established objectives or KPIs. Experience: * Minimum 4 years of experience in mining. * 3 years of experience in blasting. * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field, duly registered with the professional association. * Basic knowledge: cost analysis and the Mine-to-Mill process. * Intermediate knowledge: rock blasting design and execution, data science and programming (Power BI), proficiency in PowerApps. * Advanced knowledge: specialized blasting software (Blastware, Microtrap, Thor, JK Simblast, Paradigm, DAS, OpitBlast), English language. * Advanced knowledge: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Experience in management and continuous improvement processes. * Class A2B driver’s license held for at least two years.
