Opportunity for professional development in the mining sector **SOCIAL ASSISTANT – MINING CAMP (PUNO)** **Location:** Corani Mining Project – Puno (>3,800 m above sea level) **Work Schedule:** 20x10 (camp-based) **Vacancies:** 02 **Salary:** **S/ 3,200 – S/ 4,000 monthly (based on experience)** At **Inspira Salud Laboral**, we are seeking **02 Social Assistants** to join our multidisciplinary team at a major mining project located in Corani, Puno. We seek professionals with a service-oriented vocation, empathy, and problem-solving ability, focused on delivering comprehensive social support to workers and their families, as well as managing administrative processes related to social security and occupational welfare. Requirements to Apply * Bachelor’s degree in Social Work / Social Assistance, duly licensed and registered. * Minimum of **2 years’ experience** in social welfare, human resources, occupational health, or case management (preferred). * Preferred experience in: * Managing subsidies with ESSALUD * Social security and beneficiaries * Managing SCTR and Life Insurance Law coverage * Monitoring medical leaves and disabilities * Preferred experience in mining, camp operations, or work in remote areas. * Good health compatible with high-altitude work (>3,800 msnm). * Residence in Juliaca, Puno, or nearby areas (preferred). * Strong communication, leadership, empathy, and proactive skills. * Availability to work under the **20x10** schedule. Main Responsibilities * Manage temporary disability economic subsidies with ESSALUD. * Administer medical leaves, absenteeism, and monitor return-to-work processes. * Manage beneficiaries, ESSALUD coverage, and family allowances. * Monitor documentation for SCTR Health, SCTR Pension, and Life Insurance Law. * Provide social support to workers injured, hospitalized, or facing critical situations. * Coordinate with family members during critical events and provide social accompaniment. * Identify psychosocial factors potentially affecting worker well-being. * Organize wellness campaigns, preventive talks, and integration activities. * Prepare monthly social management reports and indicators.
