Industrial plant with over 40 years in the manufacturing industry requires a Metallurgical Engineering Intern with experience, who will actively support the OPERATIONS area at the plant. **REQUIREMENTS:** \- Student in final cycles or recent graduate of Metallurgical Engineering (mandatory, other majors need not apply) \- Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, applied to casting part design. \- Excellent oral and written communication skills. \- Interest in casting and molding processes. \- Intermediate-level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (mandatory). \- Knowledge and understanding of current quality, safety, and environmental standards. \- Expertise in designing casting systems, process management, and metrology. \- Must reside in areas adjacent to Puente Piedra (Km 36.5 Panamericana Norte \- Fundición bus stop). **RESPONSIBILITIES:** \- Support and supervision of production processes. \- Design, review, and optimize part manufacturing processes. \- Prepare technical sheets for castings and processes. \- Conduct laboratory tests on raw materials and castings. \- Design feeding systems for parts. \- Track work orders. \- Redesign parts if defects are found. \- Coordinate with PCP to develop the work plan and ensure its distribution and execution at the plant. \- Provide support to production areas. \- Propose improvements to internal processes for part manufacturing. \- Other related tasks. **COMPETENCIES:** \- Personnel management skills. \- Leadership and analytical ability. \- Decision-making. \- Proactive, team-oriented. \- Negotiation skills.
