Job Summary: FIEMSA SAC, a company in the metallomechanical industry, seeks an Engineering Manager to oversee the development, manufacturing, and assembly of projects, ensuring quality standards and design optimization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead engineering development for metallomechanical projects 2. Validate calculations, designs, and technical specifications 3. Lead and strengthen the engineering team FIEMSA SAC, a Peruvian company with over 20 years of experience in the metallomechanical industry. We specialize in the development of designs, manufacturing, and construction of mineral and industrial plants, including civil works. We are currently seeking a candidate for the position of **ENGINEERING MANAGER \- ATE PLANT** **REQUIREMENTS:** * Bachelor's degree or professional title in **Mechanical Engineering**, Mechatronics, Metallurgical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, with **experience in mechanical and metallomechanical design.** * Proficiency in mechanical design, 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, etc.), structural or mechanical component calculations, and metallomechanical manufacturing. * Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical and/or structural design within metallomechanical companies; review of 3D models, fabrication and assembly drawings, preparation and validation of bills of materials (BOM). * Advanced use of 2D/3D CAD software, basic mechanical calculations and interpretation of engineering standards, coordination with metallomechanical plant, production, and site operations, resolution of technical issues during manufacturing or assembly, supervision of designers/CAD technicians (desirable). **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Plan, direct, and supervise the engineering development—including design, manufacturing, and assembly—of FIEMSA’s metallomechanical projects. * Validate calculations, designs, drawings, 3D models, bills of materials, and technical specifications. * Ensure projects comply with established quality, safety, schedule, and cost standards. * Lead the engineering team and enhance their technical competencies. * Resolve design issues, interferences, incompatibilities, and technical difficulties arising during manufacturing or assembly. * Optimize designs to reduce costs, manufacturing time, and material usage. * Maintain continuous communication with Production, Projects, and Logistics departments to ensure proper technical execution of work.
