Your journey toward impact and innovation begins here at WSP! **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide support in the implementation, monitoring, and control of the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, client standards, and internal procedures to prevent accidents, occupational illnesses, and environmental impacts. * Support the preparation, updating, and dissemination of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (IPERC). * Support the preparation, updating, and dissemination of Written Safe Work Procedures (PETS). * Verify proper implementation and compliance with standards, critical risk controls, safe work procedures, Internal Regulations, etc. * Participate in planned and unannounced field inspections. * Monitor substandard conditions and acts during operations. * Support incident, accident, and near-miss investigations (e.g., 5 Whys, ICAM methodologies). * Monitor compliance with appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Actively participate in prevention activities through behavioral/condition observations, Hand Safety Program, Occupational Health and Safety campaigns, etc. * Support monitoring of environmental aspects and impacts. * Support implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001\), Law No. 29783, Supreme Decree No. 024\-2016 EM and its amendments, among others. * Maintain updated management and field records (checklists, ATS, reports, IPERC matrices). * Prepare monthly Occupational Health and Safety reports and other relevant HSE management reports. * Support delivery of safety inductions. * Participate in daily toolbox talks (5-minute talks / comprehensive talks / Preventive Dialogues). * Comply with internal policies and procedures of the Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health and Safety in the activities performed, among others. **Professional Background:** * Bachelor’s degree and/or professional title in Industrial Safety Engineering or related fields. * Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions and responsibilities. * Must have led HSE training programs or HSE internship programs. * Preferred: Diploma in Safety, Health, and Environment and/or Diploma in Integrated Management Systems or related fields. * Availability to work under a project-based regime in Huaraz. \#Peru \#LI\-GL1 \#LI\-Onsite **Primary Location** PE\-LIM\-Lima**Schedule** Full\-time**Employee Status** Temporary**Experience (Minimum Yrs.)** 1**Job Posting** Jul 8, 2026, 8:54:12 PM
