Actively participate in continuous improvement projects. **Position Summary:** Mechanical Technician**Location:** Peru \- Lima**Time:** Full-time**Reports to:** Maintenance Manager **Position Purpose:**Ensure asset reliability so that assets consistently fulfill the purpose or function for which they were designed, thereby increasing overall plant performance to achieve the zero-loss objective. **A Day in the Life of...*** Develop and maintain engineering competencies at the factory, focusing on preventive maintenance technologies. * Ensure that actions are optimally and timely executed or implemented across all assets. * Ensure high-performance operations by delivering asset maintenance according to Nestlé’s strategy, using TPM/PM as the multidisciplinary approach to maintain and improve fixed assets, supported by AMM for lifecycle management. * Execute assigned maintenance activities during the shift, including equipment repair, component fabrication and restoration, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, checklist preparation, inspections, completion and signing of machine letters, updating of indicators, filling of control notebooks, including execution and/or release of high-risk and/or routine tasks, categorized by Nestlé as applicable. * Ensure compliance with requirements related to ECAT, CTT, SHE, NHE, and local regulations. Understand, comply with, identify, and report workplace hazards; ensure personal safety and the safety of others around you; and apply safety standards and protocols to prevent accidents. * **What Will Make You Successful:*** Technical diploma or engineering degree (mechanical, process, industrial, or similar). * One year of technical experience, preferably in food manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods industries, as a mechanical technician or maintenance technician. * Knowledge of TPM (Planned Maintenance) is preferred. * Active participation in engineering projects, process optimization, or continuous improvement initiatives as part of a multidisciplinary team. **Competencies:*** Practicality * Quick decision-making * Working under pressure while maintaining composure * Assertive communication
