Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Teaching Assistant for Interdisciplinary Projects at FABLAB, responsible for planning, developing, and facilitating hands-on sessions, and guiding students in design and prototyping. Participate in continuous improvement of academic activities At UTEC \- Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología, we are looking for a **Senior Teaching Assistant for Interdisciplinary Projects (FABLAB)** **What will be your challenges?** * Plan, prepare, and deliver assigned hands-on sessions at the FABLAB for Interdisciplinary Projects courses. * Facilitate student learning on topics related to product design, CAD modeling, digital fabrication, and prototyping. * Guide students in applying design and product development methodologies during project execution. * Guide working teams in fabrication, assembly, iteration, and validation of functional prototypes. * Provide technical support for using Autodesk Fusion and other digital tools employed in the course. * Advise students on preparing files for 3D printing, laser cutting, and other digital fabrication processes. * Evaluate activities, hands-on exercises, deliverables, and prototypes. * Provide timely feedback to students regarding progress and quality of their projects. * Supervise appropriate use of equipment, tools, materials, and spaces within the FABLAB. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all activities. * Coordinate with the teaching team on academic activities, technical needs, and logistical requirements for sessions. * Participate in coordination meetings and continuous improvement activities related to the course. * Carry out other related duties assigned by academic coordination or program leadership. **What are we looking for?** * University professional degree in fields such as: Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. * Specializations and/or specific knowledge in: Design theory and methodologies for product development (Black Box and VDI 2225\), CAD software proficiency for 3D modeling and design (Autodesk Fusion), Additive manufacturing and 3D printing, including file preparation using slicer software (Cura), Knowledge of subtractive manufacturing via laser cutting and associated software (RD Works, LightBurn, Inkscape, or Cuttle). * Proficiency with digital fabrication tools and equipment (3D printers, laser cutters, and related devices). * Knowledge of prototyping, digital fabrication, and technological product validation. **What do we offer?** * Market-competitive salary. * Full coverage of EPS (Health Insurance) and Oncological Insurance. * Personalized training platform. * Discounts at over 200 establishments. * Opportunity to learn and engage in various UTEC projects. **To learn more about us:** * Visit our website: **https://utec.edu.pe/** * Follow us on LinkedIn: **https://www.linkedin.com/school/utec\-universidad\-de\-ingenieria\-y\-tecnologia/mycompany/** If you believe this role matches your profile and the described responsibilities align with what you are seeking, apply now! **We look forward to meeting you!** ***“At UTEC, we reaffirm our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
