




Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Assistant with experience in accounting and taxation to support daily financial tasks and transactions. Key Highlights: 1. Proficiency in accounting tools and software We are currently seeking qualified talent to fill the position of ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT, responsible for performing the following functions: **FUNCTIONS:** · Knowledge and experience handling operations governed by the General Sales Tax (IGV) and Income Tax (IR) laws, including their accounting and tax treatment. · Knowledge and experience handling operations under the SPOT system (Detractions, Withholdings, and Perceptions), including their accounting and tax treatment. · Reconcile petty cash daily. · Update bank account balances. · Print customer deposits for delivery to the Collections Department to process cancellations in the system. · Process payments to suppliers. · Schedule supplier payments. · Issue checks. · Reconcile payroll records with the Accounting Department. · Process payroll payments. · Submit corporate documentation for banking evaluations. · Familiarity with STARSOFT ERP’s accounting module is desirable. · Intermediate proficiency in office productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). · Record and process transactions in accordance with applicable accounting principles and policies, as well as current tax regulations. · Support daily accounting and financial tasks, including account reconciliation, preparation of bank reconciliations, and verification of transactions. · Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor. **REQUIREMENTS:** · Graduate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. · Solid knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, and finance. · Strong understanding of accounting and tax principles. · Proficiency in accounting tools and software, such as Excel and ERP systems. · Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. **COMPETENCIES:** · Analytical ability. · Mathematical skills. · Orientation toward internal and external customers. · Assertive communication. · Problem-solving skills. · Ability to work effectively in teams and under pressure. **EXPERIENCE:** Prior experience in a similar role, minimum of 1 year. **BENEFITS:** · Positive work environment. · Standard employment conditions under the general labor regime. · Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM; lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. · Work location: Chorrillos. · Salary expectations must be included in the application.
