Coordination and review of structural projects. **Requisition Number:** 23878BR **Description:** Stantec is seeking to hire an Intermediate Structural Engineer with at least 7 years of experience for its offices in Peru. Key responsibilities include: * Structural design of hydraulic concrete works * Structural analysis and design of concrete and structural steel structures * Structural design using ultimate strength and allowable stress methods * Preparation of calculation reports, drawings, and specifications for hydraulic structure projects—including hydraulic works, dams, and civil works for mining * Coordination with the project team on planning, required information, deliverables, resources, etc. * Reviewing, controlling, and approving that CAD technicians’ drawings are properly developed and delivered on time * Peer design review (calculation reports, spreadsheets, models) * Design in accordance with national and international standards such as ACI, AISC, ASCE, AASHTO, and USACE. **Qualifications:** Requirements for this position include: * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering * Valid professional license * Master’s degree in Structural Engineering * ADVANCED proficiency in English * Intermediate proficiency in the following software: * AutoCAD * Revit * SAP2000 * MathCad * ANSYS, ABAQUS or similar. **About Stantec:** We are active members of the communities we serve.
