Job Summary:
Oversee on-site tasks related to the blasting process and ensure compliance with the client's contract.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and supervise the blasting process on-site.
2. Ensure the efficiency and safety of blasting operations.
3. Coordinate resources for the execution of blasts.
* MISSION: Oversee on-site tasks related to the blasting process to fulfill the contract established with the client.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide instructions to the on-site team regarding tasks to be performed in the blasting zone.
* Submit raw material and supply requisitions to inform the respective supervisor.
* Verify equipment status, electronic detonators, and availability of human resources to ensure efficient blasting execution in accordance with Enaex standards.
* Program electronic detonators using equipment following established protocols.
* Perform priming, tying, and loading of pre-split holes if required.
* Conduct reconciliation of accessories used to control efficient product utilization.
* Verify priming quality, loading control, and hole stemming to ensure proper blasting execution.
* Cross-check hole and pattern conditions to ensure correct blasting according to the corresponding tie-in plan.
* Coordinate resource allocation with the supervisor for blasting execution.
* Guide and correct actions that deviate from the hole-loading protocol or involve unsafe behavior.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 4 years of experience in blasting operations.
* Preferably 3 years of experience leading blasting processes.
* Preferably 1 year of experience programming electronic detonators.
* Preferably a licensed, registered, and qualified Mining Engineer, Geologist, or related field professional.
* Possession of A2b driver's license
