In Peru, we operate across most economic sectors—including mining, agriculture, and fisheries—and form part of the value chain for their products and services. **Job Description** We are currently seeking a **Junior Geological Database and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) Geologist**, focused on analyzing and ensuring the quality of geological information. This position will provide key support in managing, validating, and controlling geological databases used for **geological modeling, resource estimation, and technical reporting**. Responsibilities: * Organize, verify, and validate geological and geochemical data from **channels, drill holes, and blast holes**. * Perform quality assurance/quality control (**QAQC**) checks and report inconsistencies, anomalies, or deviations. * Conduct quality and data consistency audits, documenting results. * Prepare validated databases for **geological modeling and resource estimation**. * Develop and use **scripts** to automate data validation and cleaning processes. * Apply analytical tools to detect **duplicates, errors, and atypical patterns**. * Support **data integration and migration** across different systems and formats. * Coordinate with field geologists, exploration teams, and laboratories. **Requirements** * Graduate or degree holder in **Geology or Geological Engineering**. * **0–2 years of experience** in geological database management and/or QAQC *(professional internships or academic projects are considered)*. * Proficiency in:**Python** for data analysis and automation. **SQL** for database queries and validation. **Intermediate–advanced Excel** (pivot tables, filters, data validation). **Additional Information** * Formal employment contract from day one. * ESSALUD health insurance. * Mandatory Life Insurance. * Ongoing training opportunities. * Corporate partnership benefits.
