




Job Summary: We are seeking a Geotechnical Specialist to ensure ground and structural stability, supervise procedures, and adapt solutions to unforeseen conditions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Verifies geotechnical materials and procedures. 2. Evaluates slope and trench stability. 3. Coordinates in-situ tests and adapts geotechnical solutions. We are currently seeking a Geotechnical Specialist for a project in Caraz. Main Responsibilities: * Verifies that materials and procedures (e.g., fill compaction and subgrade preparation) comply with technical specifications. * Evaluates slope and trench stability, and supervises the installation of support systems—such as shoring or diaphragm walls—to prevent landslides. * Controls excavation processes for footings, piles, or retaining walls, ensuring the designed firm soil stratum shown on drawings is reached. * Coordinates and supervises in-situ tests (e.g., plate load tests or field density tests) to validate expected soil strength. * Adapts or modifies geotechnical solutions in collaboration with the design team and site management when unforeseen geological conditions arise during excavation. * Other duties. ✅ REQUIREMENTS * Licensed Civil Engineer, Geological Engineer, or Geotechnical Engineer. * Minimum 6 years of post-licensure experience. * Proven experience as: Engineer / Specialist / Supervisor / Team Leader / Responsible Officer in: Geotechnics, Geology, Geotechnics and Soil Mechanics, or related fields. * Experience in: Execution and/or supervision of road construction projects, including public or private highways.
