Job Summary:
Manage the Business Improvement program, facilitating the identification and implementation of projects to increase efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction across the company.

**Job Objective:**
* Effectively manage the Business Improvement program at Catalina Huanca.
* Facilitate the identification, diagnosis, design, implementation, tracking, and closure of business improvement projects to generate value through increased efficiency and productivity, and reduced costs—thereby sustaining the company's competitiveness.
* Support execution of site key objectives and strategy, achieving or exceeding Maximum Potential targets outlined in the business plan.
* Manage the Business Improvement portfolio, including Maximum Potential Update programs, Rapid Replication, site-level continuous improvement activities and initiatives, and other corporate or regional Business Improvement-related programs (e.g., AISC Challenge).
* This role also involves overseeing and optimizing organizational management processes and ensuring alignment with site strategic objectives by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing operational data, and implementing controls to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
* Coordinate and facilitate the Senior Leadership Team’s work, implementing special projects for the General Manager.
* This role influences all site functions.
**What Will Be Your Responsibilities?**
**Process Improvement**
* Collaborate closely with plant teams to optimize processes, increase productivity, boost revenue, and reduce costs. Responsible for executing complex and visible initiatives with immediate and long-term impact, generating positive systemic change.
* Initiate, organize, and manage the plant Process Improvement program—including Full Potential Updates, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) External Spend, Rapid Replication, Productivity Tables, and other corporate programs (e.g., AISC Challenge).
* Prepare and present quarterly reports, progress updates, and Full Potential Updates to various executives (e.g., CEO, COO, CTO, SVP, RSVP, VPP, GM, among others). Lead evaluation of Process Improvement program impact and benefits, and incorporate findings into the Business Plan and forecasts.
* Monitor and control progress, cost, and benefits of Process Improvement programs; organize and facilitate monthly Steering Committee meetings; and produce monthly and quarterly status and benefit reports—including Priority Productivity Metrics. Provide training and support to initiative leaders on project management and use of Full Potential project tracking and reporting tools.
* Provide cost and productivity insights to the site management team.
* Lead and facilitate teams to identify and eliminate bottlenecks and reduce waste.
* Analyze, identify, and prioritize improvement opportunities based on business value and needs.
* Share lessons learned and success stories via Rapid Replication and the Maximum Potential Community of Practice (CoP). Monitor and evaluate departmental and operational process performance within the organization through analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. Implement performance measurement and evaluation systems to track contractor performance—including key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs). Monitor and control contractor-related costs, ensuring budget compliance and minimizing overruns.
**Support to Operational Leadership Team**
* Coordinate, collaborate, communicate, and consolidate action plans and reports to achieve Catalina Huanca’s key objectives.
* Support Operational Management Areas in cost control, investments, administrative control, and other areas.
* Support the General Manager in executing special projects, as well as preparing documents and reports.
* Support members of the Operational Leadership Team when they are off-site—for example, by representing them in corporate meetings.
**Education and Experience**
**Knowledge:**
* Master’s degree (desirable).
* Strong knowledge of project management and/or continuous improvement methodologies.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
* Proficiency in English.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office for preparing presentations and reports.
**Experience:**
* Over 15 years of experience in production-sector industries such as mining, oil & gas, metallurgy, or similar—with experience in business process improvement.
* Over 5 years of experience facilitating and coordinating meetings and workshops for small and large groups; change management—including stakeholder management; and leading teams with a demonstrated ability to deliver results through others.

* Ability to diagnose and anticipate problems and opportunities with limited information and time, supported by a strong record of professional judgment.
* Excellent business writing skills for daily communications, newsletters, training materials, recommendations, presentations, and performance reports.
* Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

* Ability to interact effectively with all levels and positions within the organization.
