Job Summary: Execute the electronic initiation process for blasting, coordinating tasks and ensuring correct detonation according to customer requirements. Key Highlights: 1. Role Objective: Execute the electronic initiation process for blasting to ensure correct detonation as required by the customer. **Daveytronic, Fametronic or IKON certification is desirable.** **Main Responsibilities:** * Plan and coordinate tasks with personnel involved in blasting. * Ensure adequate stock levels of Daveytronic products at the operation site. * Perform blasting design, programming, connection, checking, charging, and detonation. * Collect information on the blasting process and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding key performance indicators, progress, anomalies, downstream post-blast result tracking support, and improvement opportunities. * Conduct training on products and their properties. * Ensure customer needs are met by addressing their requirements and expectations. * Coordinate blasting activities with the customer and provide process reports. **Requirements:** * One year of experience with electronic initiation systems is desirable. * Minimum two years of experience in mining. * AIIB license is desirable. * Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field. * Knowledge of blasting design software. * Knowledge of blasting processes. * Knowledge of explosives and detonators, including their usage and properties. * Availability to work under a 10x10 work schedule.
