Position Summary: We are seeking a Level 2 NDT Inspector to perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections and carry out corrective maintenance of welds. Key Responsibilities: 1. Execution of inspections using NDT methods: VT, PT, and UT. 2. Evaluation and interpretation of inspection results. 3. Application of international standards and codes in inspection. We are looking for a **Level 2 NDT Inspector** to perform **Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspection services** and corrective maintenance of welds at Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Satellite Regasification Plants (SRP) in Arequipa. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Perform inspections using NDT methods: **VT, PT, and UT**. * Evaluate and interpret inspection results. * Identify discontinuities and issue detailed technical reports. * Apply international standards and codes in inspection. * Verify compliance with established technical procedures. * Ensure proper use of inspection equipment and tools. * Adhere to safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. * Coordinate with the service supervisor to ensure proper project execution. **REQUIREMENTS** **Academic Qualification:** Technical or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Welding Engineering, or related fields. **Certification:** Valid **Level 2 NDT Inspector** certification in: * Visual Testing (VT) * Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) * Ultrasonic Testing (UT) * Certification issued by an accredited body. **Experience:** Minimum 3 years performing NDT inspections and experience in industrial environments (oil & gas, mining, or similar). **Technical Knowledge:** Regulations and standards: ASNT, ASTM, AWS, ISO, or equivalent. Inspection procedures, quality control, and defect analysis.
