Job Summary: We are seeking a Metallurgical Engineer or related professional to conduct metallurgical tests and sampling at the concentrator plant, with experience in optical microscopy. In Peru, we operate across most economic sectors—including mining, agriculture, and fishing—forming part of the value chain for their products and services **Job Description** * Copper & Molybdenum Flotation Tests * Comminution Tests: Bond Work Index, SGI, and Abrasion Index * Sedimentation Tests (Flocculant and/or Coagulant) * Particle Size Analysis (Grinding & Flotation) * Metallurgical tests for reagent evaluation * Hydrodynamic characterization of bulk flotation cells. **Planning and Sampling at the Concentrator Plant**: * + Grinding circuit: SAG mill, Ball mill, Pebble crusher, Vibrating screen (Under Screen / Over Screen), Cyclone cluster (feed, underflow, and overflow) + Bulk flotation circuit (global sampling or by stage: Ro‐Scv, regrind stage, cleaner stage) + Molybdenum flotation circuit (global sampling or by stage: Ro‐Scv, regrind stage, cleaner stage) + Sampling from concentrate storage areas and emergency ponds for the concentrator plant’s monthly inventory **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree, graduate, or licensed Metallurgical Engineer. * Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions. * Significant experience in optical microscopy * Valid driver's license class A1 or higher (Mandatory). * Theoretical foundation in sampling and sample preparation. * Theoretical and practical knowledge of flotation testing. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Additional Information** * Formal employment contract from day one. * Statutory life insurance. * Corporate benefit agreements.
