Project Accountant – Mining Project At CULTINOR, a growing Peruvian mining company, we are seeking a Project Accountant to join a high-impact project. **Position Mission** Ensure accurate accounting, financial, and administrative management of the project, guaranteeing budgetary control, proper administration of expense reports, advances, costs, and cash flow, thereby contributing to the achievement of project objectives under the highest standards of internal control and applicable regulations. **Main Responsibilities** * Manage the project’s accounting and financial operations. * Monitor time sheets, payroll records, employee onboarding, offboarding, and personnel movements. * Prepare service and contractor valuations. * Administer expense reports, travel allowances, and advances. * Monitor the project’s budget, cash flow, and cost analysis. * Supervise the proper issuance of purchase orders and their traceability. * Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, and internal controls. * Participate in accounting closings, financial reporting, and administrative process improvement. **Requirements** * Degree in Accounting. * Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles within mining companies, preferably in projects at the pre-operational and/or construction stage. * Knowledge of cost accounting, internal control, budgeting, cash flow management, expense reporting, tax and labor regulations, payroll administration, and document control. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Intermediate-level proficiency in ERP Exactus. * Basic English. * Desirable: Course or diploma in Finance, Cost Management, Project Administration, Internal Control, or Financial Data Analysis. * Residency in Puno or nearby areas. Salary: S/.4,000.00 - S/.5,000.00 per month. Workplace: On-site employment
