JSC Equipos Mineros S.A., a Peruvian company dedicated to manufacturing machinery for the mining and construction sectors—including locomotives, shovels, winches, and more—is seeking top talent to fill the position of **QUALITY CONTROL ASSISTANT**. **Responsibilities:** Conduct quality inspections of manufactured components, intermediate products, and finished goods for production processes requiring such inspections. **Requirements:** * Technical or university degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, metallurgical technology, or related fields. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality control within metalworking companies. * **Technical Knowledge:** \- Interpretation of mechanical drawings. \- Use of measuring instruments (micrometer, alexometer, vernier caliper, roughness tester, etc.). \- Quality standards applicable to the metalworking industry (ISO 9001, AWS, ASTM, ASME, etc.). \- Inspection of materials and welded, machined, and assembled parts. Knowledge of welding process inspection. **Functions:** * Record inspection data in the corresponding forms (dimensional control, visual welding inspection, paint inspection control, equipment testing inspection, final production checklist). * Apply quality control stickers to identify the status of inspected products on-site (released, observed, rejected, rework, etc.). * Record internally generated non-conformities occurring on-site. * Weekly record verification of measuring equipment using a standard/reference instrument, according to dates specified in the maintenance and calibration schedule. * Conduct quality inspections of products pending quality release in the warehouse area (migration release plan / change plan). * Record information regarding delivery of finished products using the “Finished Products Dispatch Note” form. * Verify product dispatches to service departments using the “Products Dispatched to Service” form. * For incoming products from service departments to the plant, inspect the requested service and record results in the “Warehouse Receipt Note” form. * Ensure proper implementation of the calibration and maintenance program for measuring equipment and/or tools (micrometer, alexometer), coordinated with the Maintenance Coordinator. **Working Hours:** · Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM · Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM **Contact:** **rr.hh@jscequiposmineros.com.pe** **recursoshumanos@jscequiposmineros.com.pe** * Phone number: * 942857110 Job Type: Full-time Salary: PEN 2,200.00 – PEN 2,800.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
