Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Mine Closure Engineer to lead studies and projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, and advise clients. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead mine closure engineering studies and projects. 2. Manage multidisciplinary projects, ensuring technical quality, scope adherence, timelines, and budget compliance. 3. Our Environment team is growing, and we are currently recruiting a Senior Mine Closure Engineer to join our E\&E business line in the Lima office. **About the Role** * Lead and coordinate mine closure engineering studies, plans, and projects. * Manage multidisciplinary projects, ensuring technical quality, scope compliance, timelines, and budget adherence. * Develop and review closure, rehabilitation, and risk management strategies, alternatives, and measures. * Prepare technical and economic proposals for mine closure studies and services. * Provide technical advisory support to clients and participate in meetings, workshops, and proposals. * Review and provide technical guidance to junior and intermediate professionals. * Collaborate with regional and global teams to contribute to the development of the mine closure practice. **About You** * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, or Mining Engineering, or a related field. * 10\+ years of professional experience, including relevant experience in mining and mine closure. * Proven experience in Mine Closure Plans, their updates/modifications, and mine closure engineering studies. * Desirable experience in mine closure studies at conceptual, pre-feasibility, feasibility, and/or detailed engineering levels. * Experience in project management and coordination of multidisciplinary teams. * Knowledge of mining and environmental regulations, standards, and international best practices applicable to mine closure. * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. **Why Ausenco?** We support individual growth, and our goal is to enable you to work in a way that leverages your strengths and meets your needs.
