Ensure compliance with maximum permissible limits. **Date:** 27 Apr 2026 **Location:** 14 \- LIMA, PE **Company:** Buenaventura At Buenaventura, we are currently seeking a **Shift Plant Manager (Wastewater Treatment) – Mining Unit:** **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage plant operations in accordance with the Operations Manual and instructions from the Water and Tailings Management Department to ensure that the quality results of industrial residual acidic water treatment plants meet legal requirements, always promoting continuous improvement of our processes. * Conduct periodic inspections of various components of treatment plants—including infrastructure and equipment—and coordinate scheduling and monitoring of preventive maintenance activities. * Manage effluent monitoring according to the established program for treated effluents at the plant, and implement adjustments to LMPs (Maximum Permissible Limits) within the company’s strategic plans. * Ensure establishment, implementation, and maintenance of necessary processes to comply with maximum permissible limits. * Implement verification and calibration programs for measurement equipment; monitor inventory levels of consumables; coordinate with area supervisors to propose corrective and/or preventive actions. **Professional Profile:** * University graduate with professional registration in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar positions; experience in water and tailings management is mandatory. ***IMPORTANT!*** ***Buenaventura does not request any type of payment to participate in its selection processes.
