Position Summary: Laundry Assistant responsible for managing the distribution, collection, and control of garments in a maternal and pediatric healthcare environment. Key Highlights: 1. Position Title: Laundry Assistant Position Requirements: * Academic Level: Completed secondary education or technical studies * Experience: 6 months in laundry processes. Responsibilities: * Supply garments to semi-critical areas (Ultrasound, Hospitalization, and Pediatric Clinics) and to Laundry Assistants as needed. * Change towels for hospitalized patients. * Select, count, and record daily soiled garments on the designated form for delivery to the external laundry service. * Receive and approve garments delivered by the external laundry service. * Conduct quality control of the laundry service and report any issues to the General Services Manager. * Collect and transport soiled garments to the garment counting area. * Deliver clean garments to Hospitalization (same-day discharges). * Organize and store reserve garments for various departments. * Maintain accurate inventory records, track garments, and retire those that have reached the end of their useful life. * Coordinate and supervise the Laundry Assistants' work areas. * Keep the work area clean. * Participate in scheduled activities such as training sessions, emergency drills, and inspections related to risk prevention, as well as those required by the Occupational Health and Safety Department. * Other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
