Job Summary: A professional responsible for conducting metallurgical tests, analyzing and interpreting results, and providing technical support to the operations department at a polymetallic mineral processing plant. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conducting laboratory metallurgical tests and preparing samples. 2. Analyzing and interpreting metallurgical results and preparing reports. 3. Providing technical support to the operations department and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. At **COPPERFIELD**, a leading polymetallic mineral processing plant, we are seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of **METALURGIST I** at our plant located in Paramonga \- Barranca. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Metallurgical Engineering or related field. * Minimum **1 year** of experience as a laboratory analyst in the mining sector. * Solid knowledge of sample preparation, flotation metallurgical testing, and reagent flow and control. * Experience in particle size analysis, pulp and industrial water detoxification tests. * Proficiency in Office, Molycop, JKSimmet, and related software. * **Availability to work under an atypical 1-4x7 rotating shift schedule**. **Main Responsibilities:** * Conduct laboratory metallurgical tests and prepare samples, ensuring representativeness, traceability, and proper equipment usage. * Analyze and interpret metallurgical results, preparing technical reports and improvement recommendations. * Provide technical support to the operations department and ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and good laboratory practice standards. **Benefits:** * Formal employment contract from day one. * Profit-sharing based on production performance. * Statutory benefits (biannual bonuses, CTS, and vacation leave). * Insurance coverage (Essalud, SCTR, and Life Insurance per Law). * Birthday leave. * Full company coverage for meals and accommodation. * Only commuting allowance from Barranca to the plant. **Work Location: Barranca, Paramonga.** Employment Type: Full-time Application Question(s): * What is your salary expectation? * What types of metallurgical tests have you performed?
