Job Summary: Ensure the reliability and safety of critical structures in mining operations through integrity management, inspections, and risk analysis. Key Highlights: 1. Promote a structural safety culture within the organization. **Purpose of the Role** Ensure the reliability, availability, and safety of critical structures (steel and concrete) in mining operations (e.g., concentrator plants, tailings dams, conveyor belts, crushers, industrial buildings, etc.) through the implementation of structural integrity management programs, inspections, risk analyses, and mitigation plans aligned with international standards and local regulations. **About the Role** * Lead visual, non-destructive testing (NDT), and instrumented structural monitoring programs. * Implement sensor technologies (IoT, drones, remote monitoring) for early fault detection. * Conduct structural risk assessments (FMEA, RBI, RCM applied to structures). * Issue technical reports and recommendations to extend asset service life. * Validate structural designs, repairs, and relevant modifications. * Ensure compliance with Peruvian and international regulations (ISO 55000, API, ACI, ASME). * Promote a structural safety culture across the organization. **About You** * Structural or Structural Civil Engineer. * Postgraduate degree in Asset Integrity, Risk Management, or Maintenance is desirable. * 8+ years of experience in mining or heavy industries (petrochemical, energy, infrastructure). * Proven experience in managing integrity of critical structures. * National and international structural design and assessment regulations. * Structural inspection and monitoring methods (NDT, SHM, ultrasonics, vibration analysis, drones). * Risk management, Lean methodologies, and reliability tools. * Structural modeling software (ANSYS, SAP, Abaqus, or similar). **Why Ausenco?** We support individual growth, and our goal is to enable you to work in a way that leverages your strengths and meets your needs.
