We are currently seeking top talent to fill the position of **PEXT Design and Engineering Coordinator** **Position Description** We are seeking a **PEXT Design and Engineering Coordinator** to lead the development and validation of fiber optic designs in telecommunications projects. This role involves supervising contractors, reviewing drawings, and ensuring compliance with Claro’s engineering standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare, review, and approve fiber optic designs (CAD drawings, PDF and KMZ files, descriptive reports, photographic reports). * Lead and supervise external design teams, validating field surveys and deliverable quality. * Use GIS platforms to export and validate technical information according to Claro’s standards. * Review and validate OTDR test results and ensure network design integrity. * Supervise construction drawings and As-Built documentation per technical standards and local authorities. * Monitor design progress and adherence to project schedules. * Manage technical documentation on internal platforms and prepare progress reports. * Develop technical proposals and budgets, promoting operational improvements. * Manage technical files (FUIIT, PROVIAS) and coordinate permits with competent authorities. * Provide technical support to construction and maintenance departments. * Digitize cadastral records and update geospatial network information. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, or related fields. * Minimum of **2 years** of experience as a coordinator in fiber optic network design for telecommunications operators. * **4 years** of experience as a designer. * Proficiency in **AutoCAD** (mandatory). * Knowledge of **GIS** platforms (experience with Claro’s systems is desirable). * Familiarity with **project management methodologies (PMI)**. * Leadership, teamwork, analytical, and results-oriented skills. **We Offer** * Opportunity to join a leading company in the telecommunications sector. * A professional and dynamic work environment focused on technological innovation. * Opportunities for professional development and growth.
