Job Summary:
Provide support in planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling preventive and corrective maintenance of the interprovincial bus fleet to ensure optimal operation, safety, and availability.

**Job Objective**
Provide support in the **planning, execution, monitoring, and control of preventive and corrective maintenance of the interprovincial bus fleet**, contributing to maintaining vehicles in optimal operating, safety, and availability conditions.
**Main Job Responsibilities**
* Prepare, issue, and track **Work Orders (WO)** for preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency interventions.
* Assist in developing and updating the fleet's **preventive maintenance program**, considering mileage, operating hours, and manufacturer recommendations.
* Coordinate with the Operations department regarding vehicle availability and workshop entry schedules.
* Monitor work performed by internal technicians and external suppliers, verifying timelines, quality, and compliance.
* Record and maintain up-to-date **maintenance history for each vehicle**, including failures, interventions, spare parts used, and associated costs.
* Conduct periodic inspections of buses and promptly report failures, observations, and maintenance requirements.
* Assist in identifying and analyzing **recurring failures**, proposing preventive and corrective actions.
* Prepare reports and indicators related to fleet availability, preventive maintenance compliance, maintenance costs, repair times, and out-of-service vehicles.
* Generate technical specifications for spare parts and supplies required to carry out maintenance activities.
* Assist in the technical evaluation of suppliers, external workshops, and quotations.
* Verify technical compliance of received services and spare parts.
* Monitor validity of technical inspections, certificates, and other technical documentation corresponding to vehicles.
* Maintain updated area information using **Excel, ERP, or maintenance management software**.
* Comply with and contribute to established safety, order, and cleanliness standards for the workshop and vehicles.
**Academic Qualifications**
* Certified technician, university graduate, bachelor’s degree holder, or professional in **Automotive Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical-Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields**.
* Desired: training courses, specialization, or diplomas in **Maintenance Management, Fleet Maintenance, Preventive/Predictive Maintenance, or similar**.
* Advanced-level **Excel** proficiency.
* Desired knowledge of **Power BI, ERP, or maintenance management software**.
* Technical knowledge of bus systems: **engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, tires, electrical system, and air conditioning**.
* Desired familiarity with buses and components from brands such as **Scania, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Yutong, Modasa, Marcopolo, and Comil**.
**Experience**
* **Minimum 1 year of experience** in vehicle fleet maintenance within transportation sector companies, automotive workshops, dealerships, or organizations dealing with heavy vehicles.
* Desired specific experience working with **interprovincial, urban, tourism, or personnel transport buses**.
* Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, preparation and tracking of work orders, vehicle inspections, and report generation.
* Desired experience coordinating with technicians, external workshops, and suppliers.

Salary: S/.1,800.00 \- S/.2,000.00 per month
