Job Summary: We are seeking a technician to perform basic administrative tasks and process documentation, including preparing and updating technical drawings with AutoCAD and managing geographic information using GIS tools. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preparation and updating of technical drawings using AutoCAD. 2. Management of geographic information for water networks using GIS tools. 3. As leaders in innovation and technological development, we seek experts to drive sustainable development and find solutions to the world’s greatest challenges—such as global warming, overpopulation, and water scarcity.** **Job Description** Mission: Perform basic administrative tasks and computerized processing of documentation related to your unit/department, following instructions provided by your supervisor, to meet the needs of your internal client. **Responsibilities:** * Prepare and update technical drawings for drinking water and sewerage networks using AutoCAD. Draw and modify piping layouts, connections, valves, manholes, chambers, and other network components. * Digitize drawings, sketches, and field surveys, ensuring accurate graphical representation. * Prepare and update as-built drawings for interventions and works executed on the networks. * Register and update geographic information for networks using GIS tools (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, or QGIS). * Georeference technical and cartographic information according to established coordinate systems. * Create, modify, and maintain layers, attributes, and graphical elements within GIS platforms. * Integrate and validate graphical and alphanumeric information originating from drawings, databases, and field surveys. * Generate thematic maps, drawings, and required graphical information for Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance departments. * Review the consistency and accuracy of information contained in CAD drawings and GIS databases, identifying errors or inconsistencies. * Organize and maintain up-to-date digital archives of drawings, geographic information, and technical documentation for the service. * Prepare graphical and technical information for reports, valuations, files, and deliverables, complying with ACCIONA’s quality, Safety, Environment, and Compliance standards. **Candidate Requirements** **Experience:** * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a CAD drafter, CAD technician, GIS technician, or in similar positions. * Experience in drinking water, sewerage, sanitation, construction, or network maintenance projects is desirable.
