Job Summary: We are seeking External Plant Technicians – Optical Fiber to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on telecommunications networks. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on optical fiber networks 2. Diagnose and resolve faults in optical fiber networks 3. Perform fusion splicing and measurements using OTDR and Power Meter We are looking for **External Plant Technicians – Optical Fiber** to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on telecommunications networks, ensuring service continuity and quality**.** **Main Responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on optical fiber networks. * Diagnose and resolve faults in optical fiber networks. * Perform fusion splicing and measurements using **OTDR and Power Meter**. * Carry out optical fiber cable laying and splice closure preparation. * Record activities and incidents. * Comply with safety procedures for fieldwork and work at height. **Essential Requirements** * Technical degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related fields. * Minimum 6 months of experience in optical fiber networks or external plant. * Proficiency with optical fiber equipment (fusion splicer, OTDR, Power Meter). * Experience in fieldwork and work at height. * Class A1 driver's license (desirable).
