Position Summary: We are seeking External Plant Technicians – Fiber Optic to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on telecommunications networks. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fiber optic networks 2. Diagnose and resolve faults in fiber optic networks 3. Perform fusion splicing and measurements using OTDR and Power Meter We are currently seeking **External Plant Technicians – Fiber Optic** to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on telecommunications networks, ensuring service continuity and quality**.** **Main Responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fiber optic networks. * Diagnose and resolve faults in fiber optic networks. * Perform fusion splicing and measurements using **OTDR and Power Meter**. * Carry out fiber optic cable laying and splice closure preparation. * Record activities and incidents. * Comply with safety procedures for fieldwork and work at height. **Essential Requirements** * Technical degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related fields. * Minimum 6 months of experience in fiber optic networks or external plant environments. * Proficiency in fiber optic equipment (fusion splicer, OTDR, Power Meter). * Experience in fieldwork and work at height. * Class A1 driver's license (desirable).
