Job Summary: Field IT Technician responsible for installations, configurations, maintenance, and incident resolution for hardware and software, including on-site work and preparation of technical reports. Development of problem-solving skills and proactivity. ***Field IT Support Technician*** Education: Technical diploma or degree in Computing, Information Technology, Networks, Telecommunications, or related fields. ***Job Responsibilities:*** ✔ Transportation and installation of IT equipment (computers, printers, servers, switches, routers). ✔ Installation and configuration of CCTV systems (IP/analog cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and monitoring software). ✔ Inspection and certification of network points (installation and crimping of structured cabling). ✔ On-site user support for hardware and software incident resolution. ✔ Diagnosis and repair of connectivity issues in wired and wireless networks. ✔ Preparation of technical reports for resolved incidents in support platforms. ✔ Installation of telecommunications equipment and configuration of networking devices. ✔ Preventive and corrective maintenance of communication cabinets and power systems. ✔ Compliance with electrical and structural installation safety regulations. ***Job Requirements:*** * Minimum 2 years of experience in field technical support or similar roles. * Knowledge of networks and structured cabling (UTP, fiber optics, network certification). * Proficiency with network diagnostic tools, multimeters, and cable testers. * Ability to configure and manage networking equipment (switches, routers, access points). * Knowledge of security camera installation and configuration. * Driver's license A1/B2C (preferred). * Availability for fieldwork and visits to various locations (Lima, Callao). * Availability to work night shifts and daytime on-call duties, subject to prior coordination. ***Desired Skills:*** * Teamwork and effective communication with users. * Problem-solving and analytical thinking. * Organization and efficient time management. * Proactivity and ability to work independently. * Stress resilience and adaptability to dynamic environments.
