Fiber Optic Fusion Splicer Work Mode: On-site – Lima At **FICOM**, we are looking for a **Fiber Optic Fusion Splicer** to join our technical team. If you have experience in installing, maintaining, and splicing fiber optic networks, this opportunity is for you. Main Responsibilities * Perform fiber optic fusion splicing and splicing work on outside plant networks. * Install and organize splice closures (splicing enclosures), ODFs, and distribution trays. * Conduct link testing and certification using OTDR, Power Meter, etc. * Identify, diagnose, and resolve faults in fiber optic links. * Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and cable routing plans. * Prepare technical reports documenting executed activities. * Comply with quality procedures and safety standards during job execution. Requirements * Minimum 1 year of experience as a Fiber Optic Fusion Splicer. * Knowledge of outside plant fiber optic networks and telecommunications links. * Proficiency in using fusion splicers, OTDRs, Power Meters, and specialized tools. * Familiarity with field safety regulations. * Valid driver's license (desirable). * Willingness to travel when required by the project. * Responsibility, commitment, and teamwork skills.
