Kitchen Assistant Company: La Plaza Artesanal Location: Miraflores – Lima Employment Type: Full-time ⸻ Join Our Team At La Plaza Artesanal, we are looking for an organized and proactive Kitchen Assistant who wishes to be part of a growing restaurant focused on Italian and fusion cuisine. You will work in a dynamic environment with clear processes and real opportunities for culinary development. ⸻ Responsibilities * Assist in ingredient preparation (mise en place). * Perform cutting, portioning, and basic food preparation. * Assist in plating dishes during service. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. * Comply with hygiene and food handling standards (GMPs). * Assist in basic inventory control and supply replenishment. * Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service. ⸻ Requirements * Minimum 6 months of kitchen experience (preference given to restaurant experience). * Basic knowledge of cutting techniques, food production, and hot or cold kitchen operations. * Ability to work under pressure during peak hours. * Responsibility, punctuality, and teamwork. * Eagerness to learn and grow in the culinary field. * Availability to work in Miraflores. ⸻ Benefits * Base salary: S/ 1,400 – S/ 1,600 (depending on experience) * Tips \+ performance bonuses * Estimated monthly income: S/ 1,800 – S/ 2,000 * Meals provided * Formal employment registration * Positive work environment * Clear career progression path (cook / area supervisor) Employment Type: Full-time Salary: S/.1,800\.00 \- S/.2,000\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
