Job Summary: We are seeking an External Plant Technician for optical fiber installation, supporting splicing and basic testing, while complying with safety and quality standards. Key Points: 1. Experience in aerial and/or ducted optical fiber installation 2. Knowledge and operation of PEXT tools 3. Desirable experience in optical fiber splicing and fusion **JOB POSTING – EXTERNAL PLANT TECHNICIANS (PEXT)** A company in the **telecommunications** sector is looking for **External Plant Technicians** to perform **optical fiber installation**, with experience in telecommunications projects. **Requirements** * Experience in **aerial and/or ducted optical fiber installation**. * Knowledge and operation of **PEXT tools** (ladders, PPE, hardware, tensioning equipment). * Desirable experience in **optical fiber splicing and fusion**. * Ability to **operate field equipment and tools**. * Driver's license (desirable). * Immediate availability and field work. **Responsibilities** * Execute optical fiber installation according to project drawings and standards. * Support splicing and basic testing. * Comply with safety and quality standards. * Report progress to the crew supervisor.
