Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled lathe and milling machine operator to operate conventional machinery, perform precision machining tasks, and ensure part quality. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate conventional lathes and milling machines according to drawings and specifications. 2. Perform turning, threading, grooving, and drilling operations. 3. Maintain machines, tools, and the work area in optimal condition. LATHE AND MILLING MACHINE OPERATOR – INDUSTRIAL MECHANICS Requirements: Technical degree in Production Mechanics, Machine Tools, or related fields. Minimum 2 years of experience operating conventional lathes and/or milling machines. Experience in metalworking companies (preferred). Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. Proficiency with measuring instruments: vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc. Knowledge of tools, materials, and basic machining parameters. Commitment, responsibility, and willingness to work collaboratively. Responsibilities: Operate conventional lathes and/or milling machines according to drawings and specifications. Perform turning, facing, threading, grooving, keyway cutting, drilling, and finishing operations. Prepare and secure parts, tools, and equipment for machining. Verify dimensions and tolerances during and after the machining process. Make adjustments and corrections to ensure part quality. Maintain machines, tools, and the work area in optimal condition.
