The Engineering Research and Thesis Advisor is a professional with technical, analytical, and methodological expertise capable of guiding the development of academic projects across diverse engineering disciplines, including directing design, experimentation, analysis, and scientific presentation of results. Academic Qualifications Graduate in an engineering discipline: Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, Mechatronics, Systems, Mining, Environmental, Chemical, Biomedical, Telecommunications, or related fields. Desirable: Master's or doctoral degree in engineering, management, innovation, technology, or related areas. Courses or certifications in research methodology, applied statistics, simulation or design software. Desired Experience Proven experience advising undergraduate and/or graduate theses. Participation in research, design, optimization, or implementation of engineering solutions. Proficiency in technical software relevant to the specialty: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, Python, R, simulators, BIM, etc. Scientific publications or technical reports (desirable). Analysis and presentation of results with technical rigor. Preparation of engineering graphs, tables, and reports. ✔ Technical Writing and Documentation Structuring thesis chapters.
