As an Aircraft Simulator Technician I, you will help ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of CAE’s advanced flight training devices. You will work within simulation areas, providing support in maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational readiness alongside a dedicated Technical Services team. **Key Responsibilities** Technical and Maintenance Support * Perform routine technical tasks on-site. * Learn and carry out preventive maintenance activities on simulators and associated systems. * Assist in diagnosing and resolving simulator issues. * Record and track maintenance activities using maintenance management systems. Operational Tasks * Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks on assigned simulators. * Perform basic visual alignments. * Execute automated tests from the Qualification Test Guide (QTG). * Support hardware refurbishment and upgrade activities. Training and Compliance * Complete all required training modules and certifications. * Learn and comply with CAE’s Quality Management System and safety standards. * Assist with compliance documentation and audit preparation.
