General Information Position: Accounting Assistant Location: Downtown Lima (Metropolitan Lima) Department: Accounting Reports to: General Accountant / Head of Accounting Work Mode: On-site 2\. Position Objective To provide operational and administrative support to the accounting department, ensuring accurate recording of the company's economic transactions, compliance with tax obligations, and proper preparation of financial reports in accordance with current Peruvian regulations. 3\. Main Responsibilities Record payment vouchers (invoices, sales receipts, professional service receipts, credit/debit notes). Assist in preparing accounting entries (purchases, sales, journal, ledger). Record imports. Reconcile bank and accounting accounts. Assist in preparing and filing monthly tax returns (PDT, PLAME, IGV, Income Tax). Control and archive accounting and administrative documentation. Assist in preparing financial statements. Verify deductions, withholdings, and collections according to current regulations. Assist during SUNAT audits or requests. Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. 4\. Position Requirements Academic Qualifications: Graduate, Bachelor’s degree holder, technical diploma holder, or university student. Experience: Minimum 4 years in similar positions (preferably within private companies). Technical Knowledge: Peruvian tax regulations (SUNAT), Customs regulations. Knowledge of import procedures. Proficiency in accounting software (NAVASOFT or similar). Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas). Understanding of deductions, withholdings, and collections.
