Position Summary: We are seeking an English Teacher with excellent proficiency and fluency to provide comprehensive education for students at the Early Childhood and Primary levels, in collaboration with the Educational Community. Vocation, patience, and creativity to stimulate learning We are **F**AMILY SCHOOL DE SANTO DOMINGO, and we are looking for an: English Teacher with excellent English proficiency and speaking fluency for Early Childhood and Primary levels. **Job Description** *The teacher at the I.E.P ensures comprehensive student development and cultivates the graduation profile.* *The teacher aligns with the institution’s educational principles, carries out pedagogical duties collaboratively with other members of the Educational Community, and works closely with School Leadership and Coordination; their primary responsibility is fostering and achieving student competencies.* **Academic Responsibilities:** ● Design and develop printed and/or virtual instructional materials required for learning sessions, considering student competency development. Submit programming documents according to the weekly number of pedagogical teaching hours. Integrate content across subjects and disciplines. Teaching: Stimulate students’ interest in learning. Develop in students the competencies necessary for effective learning. Assessment: Prepare assessments aligned with standards and methodologies established by and for the school. **Administrative Responsibilities:** ● Timely compliance with administrative procedures defined for staff. ● Maintain up-to-date student and course records. ● Take attendance and record absences. ● Maintain up-to-date assessment records. ● Return graded tests and assignments within stipulated deadlines and according to established standards. **Desired Skills** ● Passion for teaching ● Patience ● Flexibility/adaptability ● Communication skills ● Problem-solving ability ● Creativity ● Desire to learn **Core Values** ● Responsibility, respect, solidarity, honesty, and empathy.
