Opportunity for Mechanical Engineering graduates or bachelor's degree holders **Company:** KOELSA PERÚ SRL **JOB PROFILE: MAINTENANCE PLANNING ASSISTANT** Provide support to the maintenance department through planning, scheduling, and monitoring of heavy machinery and equipment maintenance activities, ensuring work order control, adherence to established schedules, and proper management of technical information—contributing to equipment availability and continuous improvement of maintenance processes. **Responsibilities:** * Support the development and updating of maintenance plans for machinery and equipment. * Schedule and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities. * Develop and update maintenance schedules and equipment shutdown plans. * Record, update, and control work orders in the maintenance system. * Coordinate with the workshop for execution of scheduled jobs. * Support monitoring of equipment operating hours, downtime, and availability. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly planning and maintenance reports. * Support continuous improvement of planning and maintenance control processes. * Perform other duties assigned by immediate supervisor related to the position’s mission. **Competencies:** Profile with analytical and organizational capability, oriented toward order, control, and deadline compliance; maintains effective communication and appropriate teamwork; demonstrates proactivity and willingness for continuous learning, as well as responsibility and attention to detail in information management and maintenance activity tracking. **Education:** Graduate or Bachelor’s degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. Desirable: courses and/or training in maintenance planning and control, asset management, or reliability. **Knowledge:** * Basic knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance planning and scheduling. * Basic knowledge of heavy machinery (loaders, excavators, backhoe loaders, trucks, and similar equipment). * Basic understanding of maintenance indicators such as availability, reliability, MTBF, and MTTR (desirable). * Basic proficiency in computer tools, especially Excel at basic or intermediate level (desirable). * Basic experience with maintenance systems or ERP (desirable). * Basic knowledge of work order control and spare parts management. **Specialization:** * Courses and/or training in maintenance planning and control, asset management, or reliability, totaling a minimum of 100 accumulated hours. (OPTIONAL) * Complementary training in computer tools applied to maintenance and/or CMMS/ERP systems, totaling a minimum of 60 accumulated hours. (OPTIONAL) **Years of Experience:** * Minimum required experience, which may include pre-professional internships, professional internships, or initial experience in planning or maintenance areas. * Desirable experience in heavy machinery, fleet, or industrial equipment maintenance workshops. * Desirable experience in developing and monitoring maintenance plans. **Skills:** * Analytical ability, organizational skills, and information control. * Responsibility and commitment to completing assigned tasks. * Proactivity and willingness for continuous learning. * Strong communication and teamwork abilities. * Attention to detail and ability to coordinate with operational departments.
