**What are the key responsibilities of this role?**
* Connect and disconnect electrical power to refrigerated containers at APMTC premises—both in the yard and onboard vessels—and confirm these events via HH;
* Ensure refrigerated containers in the yard and on vessels have proper temperature and parameter records in our N4 system;
* Conduct visual inspections of refrigerated containers and record parameters for standard and special refrigeration units in HH for tracking and recording in N4;
* Report malfunctions and/or damages specific to reefer machinery via HH; verify that automatic alarm emails are sent to the Line and M\&R Team; resolve basic operational issues when required;
* Maintain up-to-date records related to refrigerated containers and email the shift-based monitoring report to the relevant Lines;
* Hand over accurate information regarding incidents and pending tasks from yard and vessel operations to ensure proper tracking of connections/disconnections, always safeguarding special refrigerated cargo and minimizing reefer disconnection time—whether in the yard or onboard vessels;
* Perform and report via HH the injection of N\+CO2 gases into special units registered for Gasified service, and conduct shift-by-shift follow-up to verify pending Gasified services, reporting them to PLANNING for proper management;
* Close the Gasified service in N4 to ensure correct yard management;
* Conduct inventory of assigned supplies and/or tools for the operational work area—including radios, HHs, gas supplies, and work tools—as required;
* Support correction of incorrect container positioning by informing PLANNING;
* Record all manual operations—including photos of Gasified service, reefer malfunctions, and/or damages—via existing communication channels to inform supervision and management.
**What talent are we looking for?**
* Availability to work rotating shifts (6 days on / 2 days off) and for a temporary contract of 6 months;
* University graduate or completed technical training in industrial electricity, electronics, refrigeration, or industrial maintenance—preferably with experience in refrigerated containers (reefer);
* Relevant courses and certifications related to the role;
* Class A1 driver’s license;
* Minimum 3 years of experience in related functions;
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience handling refrigerated containers;
* Occupational safety training;
* Certification or experience in working at heights;
* Certification or experience in confined space work.
